Get up, get moving, and improve your ability to communicate and adapt to change (and maybe even laugh!). More than just a set of 'funny games', improv is an exercise in making the best with whatever you have. Improvisation is a skill set that is proven to increase brain connectivity, boost creativity and confidence, decrease stress, anxiety, and uncertainty intolerance, and can provide valuable skills that will help you lead your 4-H Club, do well in your relationships, work, and life. This hour will include moving, sitting, writing, talking, thinking, playing, and maybe even a little laughter and ridiculousness. Come play some games with us!
Jessica Beckendorf, Extension Community and Economic Development Specialist; and Joe Maldonado, Extension Bilingual Youth and Families Specialist.
We'll talk about the history of corn, make corn tortillas, and then turn those tortillas into delicious quesadillas. This will be a hands-on session where we will use corn masa flour to make dough (masa) into tortillas. Join us for delicious food, the amazing history of one of the world's most common foods and learn about Eau Claire's Juntos Program.
Cindi Syverson, Eau Claire County 4-H Volunteer; Lizzie Castro, Eau Claire County 4-H Volunteer; and youth members of Eau Claire County 4-H Juntos Club

Starting a Cloverbud club or project does not require a complicated curriculum or lots of resources. It starts with understanding young learners and creating opportunities for them to explore, create, connect, and discover their interests. This interactive session will guide youth and adult leaders through the process of designing a welcoming, engaging, and sustainable Cloverbud experience.
