First AID Basics

Do you want to be able to help people in need or when they are hurt? Well, this class will offer you everything you need to know regarding the basics to first aid and general care for a wounded person. You will also be able to make your own first aid kit to better prepare yourself for any incident that comes your way.

Through this hands-on training, participants will learn Vocabulary, Thriving/ed models, curriculum/resources, meeting planning, safety, engaging youth, all while being able to create their own project meeting plans. This is a new training, so we may also be asking for feedback from the participants to prepare for future trainings.

LEGO Club

Youth and adults are welcome to learn how to start their very own LEGO club! We invite you to come see what LEGO club is all about through hands on learning during this session.  Participants will have the chance to become LEGO masters as they practice LEGO building skills and walk through a mini lesson. Creativity, problem solving, and teamwork are some of the skills that "playing" with LEGOS can teach.

Learn ways of calming your body and mind through breathing and gentle stretching. Take some time for yourself to unwind and take what you learn back to your 4-H club. No mats will be needed-we will some chair yoga and on the floor.
