When creating multimedia projects you may only use media you have created or media you have permission to use. This includes music. Music is actually NOT FREE in the world and we provide these resources for you so you will not steal music (using or downloading without paying or permission) for your creations.
"But, I LOVE that song---"
Sometimes a commercial song you've heard on the radio or online is the PERFECT song for your project. The only time using this music would be acceptable is if:
you have purchased the song, and-
you are using the song or sounds for a personal project never to be published "publicly" on the web, never posted on Youtube, and it will not be used to generate income (personal use)
you are using the song or sounds for a school-related project that will never be published "publicly" to the web, never posted on Youtube, and it will not be used to generate income (educational use)
Here are the websites we recommend you use to find free music on the web:

If you are downloading to your home computer using a program like iPhoto or Apple Photos (Mac only) consider also using Google Photos (cloud based) which is useful to organize your photographs across multiple devices. Here is an Embed Google Photos Tool so you can embed Google Photos on any website. Here is another website which allows you to embed a Google Photos album on your blog or website.
I regularly capture images using all the equipment listed above and more. To manage and edit my photography I use Adobe Lightroom (available on all school computers; Mac & Windows compatible). As a WIS student you can download this software for your use on your laptop from the school.
