Note from the Head of Dynasty:

Dynasty at WIS is a vital element of school life. The Dynasty system consists of friendly competition between our six Dynasties (Han, Ming, Qing, Song, Tang and Yuan) through a year long calendar consisting of a huge range of activities. The system encourages spirit, support and participation. There is opportunity for all students and staff at WIS to get involved and generate Dynasty points towards the end of year Dynasty Cup.

To celebrate our diverse Dynasty calendar the school has a number of Dynasty Days which are an opportunity to come together as a community, pause the teaching timetable and engage in competitively-fun activity carousels, Sports Days and Swim Galas.

Alongside the Dynasty Leaders, I endeavour to listen to student and staff voice and positively develop the system to engage student participation and well being and offer opportunities for ALL.
