ID Basketball 04/05/2026-11/05/2026
Get ready to witness the loudest inter-dynasty event, where you will get the chance to see rival dynasties clash on the court. If you are a basketball player, it's your chance to show off your skills and have a good time. In ID Basketball, you will have an unforgettable time!
ID Netball Moved to Term 3 2027
This annually occurring event sees dynasty teams go against each other in short games of netball. Games are divided by age group, but people can play regardless of experience or expertise.ย
ID Just Dance 12/06/2026
ID Just Dance takes place on Friday 12th June 2026 in the Sports Hall.ย
ALL students and staff are welcomed to this OPEN event so come on down to the Sports Hall at lunchtime for a boogie!ย
A Dynasty point per participant that walks through the door will be allocated and it's DOUBLE points for staff to their Dynasties so bring your tutors and teachers!

ID Dodgeball June 2026
In this event, students from all dynasties compete in the intense ball-throwing and catching game...alongside aggressive ball-avoiding!

This highly anticipated event sees different dynasties compete to row the furthest in a set time. The competition even sees staff competing with one another in true dynasty spirit.ย

West Island's very own talent show - where students across all year groups and dynasties are invited to participate and showcase their personal talents and unique skills.ย
Dynasty Day 30/09/2025
The Dynasty Leaders recently planned and hosted a variety of Inter-Dynasty school events during Dynasty Day (30/09/25) under the guidance of Mr Harding, the Head of Dynasty. These events aimed to promote enthusiastic participation in school life and foster collaboration among students.ย
ID Swim Gala 30/10/2025
WIS and the annual swim gala, where students participate in various races and activities, representing their dynasty and raising team spirit, not only through the participants themselves but also the student body enthusiastically encourages their classmates.ย
ID Cross Countryย
Every year, WIS hosts its most extensive sports event, where every student in their year group partakes in running from Victoria Road down to Kennedy School, with every step and time counting towards their dynasty's standings.ย
ID Science Competitions 13/11/2025 - 14/11/2025
This ID event is designed to test students' skills in their Biology, Chemistry and Physics knowledge and application. Students are encouraged to think creatively and problem solve to score points for their Dynasty.
ID Maths 24/11/25
The annual ID Maths Challenge is where representatives from each tutor group work together to solve math problems and score points for their Dynasty.vย
ID Christmas Bake-off 10/12/2025
The Inter Dynasty Christmas Bake-off occurs in the last week of the first term, where students can submit baked goods for judging. Their creations are then sold in the Christmas Fair with proceeds donated to charity.
ID Spelling Bee 28/01/2026-29/01/2026
Striving to spell challenging words in intense rounds, the annual Spelling Bee is the ultimate battle of vocabulary and wits! Dynasties teamed up in groups of 4, racing against the clock to see who could spell their way to victory the fastest.
ID Sports Day 13/2/2026
From thrilling races to epic sports events, sports day is the best ID event of the year. Step into the track and races and give all your effort to your dynasty. Show your team spirit and help your dynasty secure enormous amounts of points, which can be totalled for the dynasty cup.ย
ID Cricket 11/03/2026 - 13/03/2026
Cricket is a popular bat and ball game where one team bats to score a run while the other bowls & fields to restrict the runs.
ID Futsal 17/03/2026-24/03/2026
Every year, WIS hosts a futsal event where multiple students partake in an indoor futsal tournament split by their dynasties.
ID Get Caught Reading 21/04/2026 - 01/05/2026
The "Get Caught Reading" event challenges students to showcase their creativity by photographing themselves reading in the most obscure, funny, or weird locations imaginable. From rollercoasters to diving blocks.

The ID Sporcle event across the D900 corridor brought it our finest Sporclers from across the Juniors and Seniors (and a few staff too!). An immense Sporcle session labelling all the countries in the World on the Sporcle Map in the fastest time possible! Our reigning Champion Jeffrey Shen picked up the fastest time once again proving his worth with back to back Championships. But who will win the Sporcle finals in the Final Assembly of the year between our Juniors (Billy!) and our Seniors (Jeffrey!)??
