A container of very dangerous 'acid' must be shifted to another place.
You must design and make a robotic arm to lift and move the container – a full tin (e.g.baked beans).
- Newspaper or cardboard (Use as much as you want/need/have)
- 1 m Sticky tape
- 2 m String
- Small piece cloth (handkerchief size)
- Scissors (for construction only)
- Ruler or tape measure (for judging the distance only)
- Your device must reach out and pick up the full container (without tipping it over), lift it at least 15cm high and drop it at least one metre away (still upright) and release it from the arm.
- Every part of your body must be at least 1 metre (1000mm) from the container.
- You can only use the materials provided so think creatively how you use your materials.
e.g. If you don't have a pin, roll some tape up...
- Whether the robotic arm can lift the tin 15 cm high and move it one metre in 45 seconds
- How well you have explained and demonstrated your grabber arm in your flipgrid video.
