About Me

My name is Alden Livingston and I am entering my 3rd year teaching at Winthrop High School. I am a Vermont native who has lived in Maine since 2020. I got my bachelors degree in history from Castleton University where I was a four year member of the curling team. My passion for history comes from my desire to understand the present and appreciate those who have come before us.

Outside of teaching, I am married to my high school sweetheart, Maddie, and we have twin daughters, Lily and Natalie, who were born in July of 2024. We also have a dog named Georgie who has loved becoming a big brother. I am also a guide on the track and cross country team and enjoy running in my free time. 

I look forward to working with students both in the classroom and outside to educate them on all things history and all things curling!
