I was born in Nyarugusu, Tanzania, Africa. I also lived in the Nyarugusu refugee camp for 12 years. I heard teachers and people talking. I saw yellow and green flowers in the camp. My school has bricks and windows. I smell bananas and flowers in the classroom. I taste orange juice and bread. I touch my desk, books and pens. We went to Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I saw many people. We took an airplane to Washington, DC, USA. I heard loud airplanes and lots of people talking. I see a lot of people. I see bags people are carrying and I see planes. I touch my chair and I touch my bag. Next, I take an airplane to Burlington International Airport in Burlington, Vermont, USA. It is a big airport. I hear a lot of people talking. I smell and eat chicken. Next we go to St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, USA. I listened to music, Diamond and Harmonize. Rayvanny. I see a big college. I see a big room and a little bed. Everyone had a different room. I see my mom, brothers and sisters. I smelled cigarette smoke outside. I drank juice and ate a banana, apples, rice and chicken. My bed was soft and squishy. I touch my table, chair and trees. Finally we go to Winooski, Vermont, USA. I smell and eat yummy food, fou-fou, chicken and rice. I touch the fou-fou, it is squishy and soft. I touch my bed, it is soft.
