Process

The issue

The first part of the CBL project was finding the issue. The main focus of this project is accessibility. To know more about this topic, we watched multiple videos explaining how people are faced with problems related to money, housing, etc. We also had guest speakers talk about how significant accessibility is to everyone. The final thing we did was find different things in peoples everyday lives, and put them on a mind map. For the final step, we then made these broader topics more specific.

Research

The second step to CBL process was researching and picking an idea. The first step was picking a problem related to accessibility. Once we did this, we found a client who related to this topic and could give us advice and feedback. After that, we researched our problem further, and then created a presentation to explain our barrier. Lastly, we went back and forth with our client discussing ideas for a possible solution.

Ideate

Once we came up with ideas for our solution to our barrier, we researched them further. One way we did this was interviewing people and getting their feedback. Once we used our clients, peoples, and our research to come up with the best solution, we started the prototype presantion. This presentation explained what we hoped to make, and included our timeline so we could make sure we are staying on track. Once we got approved by our teacher, we started making our solution.

Test, Iterate, & Implement

Test, iterate, and implement vlog.mov

Throughout the course of the of the CBL process, we have gotten a lot of feedback. We used all of this feedback in order to further our data. The most important feedback we got was from our client, and we implemented this into our barrier, solution, and more. Other ways we evaluated our product was using other people to use the forms on our website. This helped us know what our form looked like from another persons perspective.

Launch

Then, it was the forum. We used our poster for people to know our goal. We used our interactive element for people to understand how expensive equipment really was. The forum also helped us because we got feedback from other adults. After the forum we took the feedback into consideration. This helped further our prototype into the possible best it could be.
