Process

Introduction

During the start of our project, Kevin gave us the lowdown, setting the stage for our teamwork. As we gathered in our groups, Kevin guided us through what we needed to achieve and what to expect. We had some great discussions, throwing around tons of ideas about how to make things more accessible. From chatting over coffee to late-night brainstorming sessions, we bounced ideas off each other, getting pretty hyped up about the possibilities.

Working together, we aimed to figure out the main hurdle blocking accessibility, understanding that we needed to pick something that could really make a difference. We had some real heart-to-heart talks, sharing different viewpoints and trying to narrow down our options. It was all about finding the best focus area with the most potential. This process helped us set the stage for what was to come, laying a strong foundation for our project ahead.

Research and Define

During this critical phase, we organized our Google Drive CBL files and conducted thorough research on ADHD, our chosen barrier. We met with our client, Ben, gaining valuable insights. We then crafted a problem presentation, outlining ADHD specifics with data and interview findings. Following this, we developed a user-friendly website aimed at raising awareness and providing resources for ADHD.

Ideate

During this important phase, we got our digital files in order and dug deep into researching ADHD, the focus of our project. Meeting with our client, Ben, was a game-changer, as his input gave us a whole new perspective. With that knowledge in hand, we put together a presentation that spelled out the specifics of ADHD, backed by data and interviews. Once our presentation was solid, we shifted gears to creating a website that was easy to navigate and packed with info about our project.

Building And Testing

During this important stage,  we  made  our product come to life, by developing a a proof of concept website, decribing and showing our product.  We updated our website along the way, as well as taking data by making a form, (thanks Emily!) to the whole school. AFter that, ALana composed all of our data and info on to a poster,  and did a AMAZING job. After this phase, we are going on to presenting and relecting about this project.

Launch

In the final phase of our CBL project, we poured our energy into editing and storyboarding our video, recognizing it as a crucial component of our overall presentation. We took a break in the middle to present at the CBL forum, an exciting opportunity to share our work with a diverse audience and receive valuable feedback. Many people appreciated our presentation, acknowledging the hard work we had invested and providing insights that would further strengthen our project.
