Solution

Our solution is that we are going to help the DEA Educational Foundation for Youth Baseball with the issue of not having enough baseball equipment. To fix this problem we are going to connect them with a brand/store/organization that is able to help them with this barrier, by providing them with the equipment that is needed. By connecting these two it will create a relationship between them, which will then become an ongoing solution for the DEA. Some brands/organizations/stores that we looked in to reaching out to for our solution include Big 5, Dodgers, Easton, Wilson, Rawlings, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Mizuno. We decided to reach out to the Dodgers and they now are going to help the DEA, by donating equipment. 

• Rental equipment, which makes equipment more affordable for people, especially if someone has a kid who is growing and frequently needing to get new equipment

• Good Sports gives kids the opportunity to play sports and provides them with equipment without having to pay 

• Buying used equipment is a more affordable option to buying brand new equipment

• Many places hold donations for baseball equipment and the equipment that is donated  gets given to people who need it
