Process

We discovered that many people in the baseball world are in need of baseball equipment. This is a common ongoing issue for many people.

In our research we found that the DEA Education Foundation for Youth Baseball was in need of baseball equipment for their organization to help kids play baseball that would otherwise maybe be doing drugs instead.

As we were brainstorming for a solution to help the DEA we decided that we would connect them with a company/organization that would be able to give them the equipment that they are in need of. Some of the companies/organizations that we looked into were Dodgers, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Big 5. We came in contact with the Dodgers and decided that they would be a good fit for this position to help the DEA.

We communicated with both the DEA and the Dodgers to come up with a plan. The plan is that the Dodgers will donate equipment, which will be mostly gloves because that is what the DEA said they are most in need of. They have also decided to generously donate 100 tickets one of their games.

The Dodgers are currently working on donating equipment and 100 tickets to one of their games to the DEA Education Foundation for Youth Baseball, which will ultimately help the DEA significantly in being able to help kids play baseball.
