Hello and welcome! My name is Mrs. Young, and I am so excited to share the wonderful world of art with our amazing students here at Windber Elementary. In our art room, creativity, curiosity, and imagination come alive.

This is a space where students can explore new materials, experiment with techniques, and express themselves through drawing, painting, sculpture, and so much more. Every child is an artist, and my goal is to help each student discover the joy of creating while building confidence in their unique artistic voice.

Throughout the year, we’ll celebrate not only the beautiful artwork that students create but also the problem-solving and self-expression that grow with every project. Art is about the process as much as the product, and I can’t wait to see all the creativity that fills our classroom!
