You can access the online archive of The Boston Globe through the school's library page. This can be helpful to get a sense of how a finished op-ed should look. Follow these steps:
Go to whslearningcommons.com
Under the "Research" menu, select "Databases"
3. Select "Gale Databases"
4. Click on "The Boston Globe"
5. Click on "Advanced Search"
6. Scroll down a little bit, and in the the "Document Type" field, check "Editorial"
7. Click the "Search" buton
8. Scroll through the links listed there, and choose an op-ed to read; make sure you haven't selected a letter (which are much shorter; op-eds usually range between 400 and 900 words)
