This is the first of four lessons you'll work through in order to understand the benefits of adding the web-based software program, Lumio, to your teacher toolbox. This lesson will introduce you to the tools Lumio offers teachers who interested in creating seamless, interactive, and effective online lessons for their students. This lesson has three parts.
First, you'll watch the training video, which will walk you through the tools offered to teachers using Lumio. Next, you'll work through the step-by-step lesson to set up and add a new lesson to your Lumio library. This lesson was created using Lumio, so you'll see the benefits of using the program first-hand. Finally, you'll use what you've learned to answer the scenario-based question before moving on the Lesson 2, Adding Resources to a New Lesson.
Lesson 1 Performance Objective
After completing Lesson 1: The Lumio Overview, the learner will be able to use Lumio web-based software to locate their Lumio library without assistance.
Step 3: Scenario-based Assessment
In this lesson, you learned the difference between the Lumio Library of pre-made resources and your Lumio library (My Library), where you'll create your own original resources using the interactive tools Lumio offers.
