Chromebooks

Every middle school student receives a chromebook as a part of digital initiative undertaken by Wilson County Schools. Chromebook provides a classroom without walls or limitations. It is a viable option to foster creativity of our students and help them getting ready for college and/or workplace.

Here are the steps that parents can take before chromebook is issued to your student at their middle school.

    1. Read and Sign the iPad AUP (Acceptable Use Policy). Keep pages 1 through 4, sign and return page 5.
    2. Pay the technology fee.
          • Paid lunch-$30,
          • Reduced Lunch-$25,
          • Free Lunch-$20.
  • Rollout begins in September - Please pay technology user fee and sign/return AUP in the first week of school.
  • All students who pay fee will take Chromebooks home - date determined by each school.
  • Students who don't pay user fee will go on a Day User Plan. (It's best if we don't have any students on this plan)
    • To become a Day User student/parent still needs to furnish a signed AUP.
