Sergeant Major Jonathan Clark graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1993. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps shortly after graduation. He served primarily as a Combat Arms Field Artilleryman. He also served as a Drill Instructor at Parris Island, South Carolina and at Officer Candidate School, Quantico Virginia. Sergeant Major Clark served in a myriad of billets and assignments across the Marine Air-Ground Task Force. He served as a Battalion Sergeant Major and as a Recruiting Station Sergeant Major. Sergeant Major Clark is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He retired in 2018 after 25 years of honorable and faithful service to the Marine Corps and United States Naval Service. He has been serving as a Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (MCJROTC) Instructor since 2018 and as the Senior Marine Instructor since 2025. Sergeant Major Clark was recognized as "Teacher of the Year" for the 2024-2025 school year.
First Sergeant Thomas Mattingly was born and raised in Springfield, Kentucky. Enlisting in the Marine Corps in 2006, he served as a Ground Support Equipment Electrician and Mechanic before serving as a Drill Instructor aboard MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina. He also served as the Assistant Marine Officer Instructor at Vanderbilt University while augmenting as an Instructor at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. He continued to serve in billets of senior enlisted leadership as a Company First Sergeant, culminating as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the historic Drill Instructor School aboard MCRD Parris Island. First Sergeant Mattingly is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. He retired in 2025 after 20 years of honorable and faithful service to the Marine Corps and United States Naval Service. He has been serving as the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (MCJROTC) Marine Instructor since 2025.

BASIC WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
Monday - Uniform, Personnel and Grooming Standards Inspections (All Students)
Tuesday - Unit Instruction In Classroom
Wednesday - Close Order Drill Training
Thursday - Marksmanship Training
Friday - Physical Training (PT) / Physical Fitness
NOTE: Schedule often adjusted in order to meet additional training requirements
UNIFORM POLICY & PT POLICY:
Marine Corps Policy states the Marine Instructors must designate at least 1 day of the week to wearing uniforms and 1 day of the week to Physical Training (PT).
Uniforms are worn ALL DAY to school on Monday.
LE1 Cadets will wear Camouflage Utilities and LE2-4 will wear Service "C" uniforms all day each Monday.
Failure to wear uniforms on Mondays will result on a Zero (O%) grade.
Cadets will bring PT gear on Fridays.
Cadets will change into/out of PT gear before/after the conduct of PT during their class-block.
