Classroom Jobs

We know that we all have a responsibility in cleaning and organizing the classroom, as well as helping it run smoothly! Students will go through each of our classroom jobs multiple times throughout the year. Class jobs switch on Monday each week. For everyday that students complete the tasks of their job, they receive five Dojo points. Our class jobs include: mail delivery, lunch helper, librarian, banker, store clerk, medic, lunch count, and lights monitor.

Class Dojo

For our classroom management system, we will be using Class Dojo. At the beginning of the year, I will pass out codes you can use to see your child's behavior throughout the day. Students will be rewarded different points for various things that they do during the school day.

These are the different points students can earn everyday. You will see that skills have different point values.

Pay Day

Every Friday, we will have a Pay Day! Students have been earning Dojo points all week, and now is the time to cash in! Students will have "wallets" in their desk where they can collect their "money" each Friday. They will have the opportunity to either shop in our classroom store, or save up for a bigger prize! Our store has a variety of goodies, like classroom coupons that can be redeemed for music time in class, all the way to glow in the dark slime! ***If you would like to donate any toys or knick-knacks to our classroom store for students to work towards, we would greatly appreciate it!***
