• Buildings will be decorated with welcoming and inviting signage

• Universal social-emotional screenings/surveys will be conducted

• Time will be built into students’ daily schedules to forge connections and provide Social Emotional instruction

• Transition and orientation activities will be planned to familiarize students with new classes and buildings

• The starting weeks of school will include instruction in new ways and skills to help support successful learning in this new environment
