With Edpuzzle, students can watch video lessons assigned by the teacher. Teachers embed their own questions in the video, and students will receive immediate feedback so they can see if they’ve understood the content or not.

Kami allows teachers to share PDF files with students, and students can annotate the files using several different features, including Highlight, Add Text, Draw On, Add Shapes, and more.


Peardeck

Your children may be using Pear Deck to complete their school work from home. Pear Deck is built to support active learning and empower teachers to hear from every student, every day. To access a Peardeck, students click the link in Schoology to get to their assignment.


Flipgrid

Frequently Used In: Any Content; All Grade Levels

Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. Grids can be shared with classes, small groups, or any collection of users interested in a common strand of questions. Each grid can hold an unlimited number of topics and each topic can hold an unlimited number of responses. Topics can be text-based or include a resource such as an image, video, Giphy, emoji, or attachment.

CASTLE Learning

Frequently Used In: Social Studies, Science, Math; High School

Castle Learning is an online instructional platform that provides review material for high school students in science, social studies, English and foreign language. Teachers will assign Castle Learning to practice skills and content frequently seen on regents exams.


Screencastify

Frequently Used In: Any Content; All Grade Levels


Screencastify is screen recording Chrome extension. All students and teachers will have access to the software and can be used for face to face activities or remote instruction. Videos can be created and uploaded into Schoology or added to an Edpuzzle to create in interactive activity.
