The Slant

WPC is excited to rejuvenate The Slant, a publication founded by Robert Yang '15 to "promote visual arts on campus." In Yang's words, the "Williams student body [should] be able to enjoy a purely aesthetic publication. You do not have to read or mull over esoteric concepts. Just look." More information on The Slant can be found here.

WPC strives to stay true to the intent of the original publication. The photography submission and selection process is detailed below. More details concerning 2020-2021 submissions will become available at a later date.

Current Issue

WPC will be soliciting photography submissions during Fall 2020. Students, staff, and faculty are all welcome to submit photographs. The theme of the current issue will be announced at a later date.

To submit photographs for The Slant consideration, remember the following guidelines:

  1. Only unpublished photographs (those not published anywhere else) will be considered.

  2. Photographs must be submitted in jpg file format. File size must be under 300 KBs. Try to make the file size as close to this value as possible.

  3. Submissions must be accompanied by the photographer's name and class year (if applicable).

Photographs must be submitted via email to williamsphotoclub@gmail.com by a deadline, TBD. Photographs that are not published in The Slant will be made publicly viewable in an appropriate repository, upon photographer consent.
