Submissions are due through this Google form no later than 11:59 PM EST on March 26, 2021. The form will be available by February 1, 2021. You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate to submit, or have graduated in 2020 and not yet be enrolled in graduate school.
You will be asked for a 400-600 word project abstract. Abstracts exceeding 600 words will not be considered. Abstract should identify the economic question being addressed, a detailed description of the methodological approach, and preliminary results if available. Research may be theoretical and/or empirical and may be in any field within Economics. References are optional and do not count towards the word limit. Do not include tables or figures.
You will be asked for a 50-150 word description of how your participation furthers the goal of promoting an inclusive environment for Economics research. Descriptions exceeding 150 words will not be considered. Examples include a discussion of how your identity or lived experiences differ along any dimension from those historically dominant in the field, a discussion of how you have worked to promote inclusion, diversity, and/or equity in the field, or any other way your participation bolsters the goals of the conference.
In addition, you will have the option of uploading a PDF containing supplemental materials such as tables, figures, or a full paper. Please ensure the PDF contains a title page with your name and an explanation of the materials. Supplementary materials not required.
We regret that due to capacity constraints we will not be able to accept all submissions to the conference. You will be notified on or around April 9, 2021.
