The children explored mixing colours, watching with excitement as new colours appeared. They experimented by combining different shades, talked about their choices, and some children made predictions about what might happen next.
The children were very proud of their playdough creations, carefully rolling, squashing, and shaping the dough into their own unique designs. The activity also supported fine motor skills and encouraged children to share ideas and celebrate each other’s efforts.

The nursery children settled happily back into their routines after the break by enjoying a special tea party inspired by The Tiger Who Came to Tea. They shared stories, role-played the characters, and enjoyed snacks together, just like in the book. The activity helped the children reconnect with friends, practise turn-taking and conversation.
