🍃  What to expect

Tours run for up to  3 hours, starting at 9.30am, and include:

• Guided wilderness walks through natural bushland and along freshwater creeks, learning to notice the subtle signs of nature along the way.

• Opportunities to observe and learn about wildlife moving freely through their natural habitat

• Spending time with our resident ambassador wildlife, including dingoes and reptiles, who call Wildlife Surrounds their forever home

• Insights into Wildlife Surrounds’ conservation work and future vision

Our dingoes and reptiles are long-term residents who cannot return to the wild and now play an important role in helping people understand their true behaviour, and role in our natural environment.

Each experience is shaped by the environment on the day—no two tours are the same.

All encounters occur on our resident wildlife’s terms.

While our wildlife are often comfortable and enjoy interacting with our guests, up-close encounters are not guaranteed. We work on their terms to ensure they remain calm, comfortable, and relaxed throughout the experience.

Mount Surround, approximately 50km south of Townsville, near Giru in North Queensland. Detailed directions and meeting information will be provided 14 days prior to your tour.
