As a potential influencer of consumer purchasing, many brands would like to offer SAR members exclusive access and pricing. To participate in pro deal programs, they kindly request that you act as a positive supporter of any product you use, and refer others to the product when appropriate and authentic. Additionally, they ask that you maintain discretion regarding the special buying opportunity.
Please remember...
Purchases should be for personal use unless the company explicitly permits otherwise. Some brands may offer friends and family discount code opportunities.
Many brands have annual limits on the amount you can order.
The discount offered is typically off the regular retail price. However, it's worth noting that better pricing might be available during sales.
Please be aware that shipping and handling fees may not be included, potentially adding to the overall cost of the item.
If you have additional brands to include in this list, please reach out to Susie Simmons and she will add them accordingly.
All pro deal offers require you to provide proof of membership in order to be approved. Fortunately, the documentation you can download right from D4H is typically sufficient. Here is how you can download what you need:
Log in to D4H on a non-mobile device.
Click on the person icon in the top right-hand corner and click on your name. Please see the screenshot to the right.
Scroll down and look for "Qualification Card" on the right-hand side.
A PDF of your "Qualification Card" will open in your browser or download. The "Qualification Card" is typically all that is needed for your application to obtain a pro deal.
Several organizations make it easy to obtain pro deals from multiple companies with one application.
Expert Voice: Susie applied for our team to be listed on Expert Voice. Unfortunately, we are too small to qualify at this time.
IPA Collective: Please note that the IPA Collective is a portal for easier access to multiple brands and not a stand-alone 3rd party pro retailer.Β Upon approval, you will be added to the in-house pro program for any/all brand(s) you check and you will get a separate, individual, and personal brand application notification AND a 2nd note β a welcome letter from each brand. Soβ¦a few more e-mails in your inbox than normal β just so you are aware. You get access to a special code and are then able to purchase directly from the company.
Outdoor Prolink: Prolink offers its own store front for purchasing products through their website as well as opportunities to get a special code to purchase directly from the company.
American Alpine Club ($45/year): If you are an American Alpine Club member, you have access to gear discounts through their platform.
Beyond the multi-brand organization, many companies offer pro deals for SAR members. The list below includes brands that are not, as of editing, part of the multi-brand organizations listed above. The process for gaining access varies by each company. Some of them provide you the opportunity to use the discount in stores while others are exclusive to online purchases. If the discount is known to be accessible in stores, look for the ποΈ icon.
Atlas Snowshoes: 35% Off Retail; Pro Program access expires yearly on June 30th.
Eddie Bauer ποΈ: 10% off in stores only.
FjΓ€llrΓ€ven ποΈ: Susie got 10% off in the Freeport store by asking an associate and showing her D4H profile (without needing to apply online).
Hillsound (Traction, gaiters, etc.)
Hyperlite: WRT members have been accepted and it appears to be approximately 10-20% off.
Patagonia Pro Program ποΈ: If you have questions about the Pro Program, click here.
For one reason or another, the following companies no longer or do not offer pro deals. I wanted to include them here so that you don't have to look for them:
