Calling all climate leaders!! - Do you care about climate change, but get confused by the science? Do you want to take action in your school, community and personal life but aren’t sure what to do? Do you want to build the skills and confidence you need to make a positive difference? The Wild Center’s Youth Climate Leadership Certificate Program is for you!
Join an excited, motivated team of young people from around NYS for a flexible, year-long program focused on personal leadership, giving you the skills, knowledge and support to lead climate initiatives in your school and community.
The Wild Center’s climate team has put together an interactive program with several action steps that can be completed through the Youth Climate Leadership certificate course on Google Classroom. We are here to help you, and your peers, as you complete the course to become a Youth Climate Leader!
- All Youth Climate Leadership Retreat participants are invited to continue to build on the skills and experience they gained at the retreats over the summer.
