English I

Our focus in English I will be to develop as writers, readers, and thinkers. We will accomplish this goal by reading well-crafted and thought-provoking fiction, poetry, and non-fiction works from a variety of writers, eras, and places. In writing, focus will be on developing strong academic sentences, paragraphs, and essays. Essays will focus on literary analysis including formatting citations correctly.
