In order to make sure that Tutors are insured against Student No shows and cancellations in the Late Night hours, we are introducing a revision to the Student No Show Insurance policy, for Demos starting from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM IST.
We have increased 1 hour of time including the 2 AM and 5 AM slots.
If the Demo is canceled during the Late Night hours 2:00 AM-5:00 AM (IST), the Tutor will be entitled to payment of INR 300.
The purpose of the insurance is to ensure that the Tutors are protected against Cancellation/Noshows/Rescheduling on the demos in the Late night hours.
The following situations are not covered by Late night insurance policy:
If the Cancellation/Reschedule information is provided at or before midnight on the Whatsapp group.
Demo sessions are always free for the students, which is a standard practice followed by most of the Online Tutoring platforms as well as in Wiingy. Students only pay for regular classes. In line with that, payments to Tutors are based on the regular classes, not on the demo classes in Wiingy
Late night Insurance payout is a Tutor success initiative from Wiingy to protect Tutors against Noshows/Cancellation specifically to Late night hours.
The policy is valid from 1st August 2023 to 31st March 2024.
The policy might be changed/ extended based on Tutor feedback after this period.
The policy is applicable only for Demo classes
No, the policy protects against Noshows/Cancellations. There is no payout for Demo classes where students join - neither for converted nor for not converted cases.
