House Teams and School Committee Groups
At Keiss Primary School and Nursery, we place a strong emphasis on Pupil Voice, ensuring that children have a say in shaping their learning environment and wider school community. Children are actively encouraged to share their opinions, ideas, and suggestions in a variety of ways.
They can contribute during regular class discussions, participate in the dedicated Pupil Council, or write their ideas and proposals on a central board. This board serves as a hub for suggestions, allowing pupils to propose changes or additions they believe would improve the school, such as enhancements to facilities, new extracurricular activities, or updates to school policies.
The Headteacher meets regularly with Pupil Council representatives to discuss these ideas, ensuring that all voices are heard and considered. By fostering open communication and encouraging active participation, Keiss Primary School and Nursery is building a culture where children feel empowered, valued, and take pride in making a positive impact on their school.
