As there are not many uses of this shot, I will draw from multiple films...
Banshee (Matt Ditko, 2022)
Girl awakens from being knocked unconscious. The world is on an angle which highlights her disorientation and how things are about to go badly.
Grief (Brock Bodell & Daniel Perry, 2020)
Kevin has just been stabbed in the neck, and Esther tries to prevent his gushing blood from escaping. The Dutch Angle used helps to reinforce the chaos the characters are experiencing and how their world is off balance.
Smiles (Javier Chavenal, 2022)
This Dutch Angle shot shows a very strange family after they have performed a very violent act. The act was very unexpected based on the tone prior to this moment, and the Dutch Angle helps convey the horrendous shift in tone.
Stucco (Janina Gavankar & Russo Schelling, 2020)
This shot portrays the main character moving towards something grotesque and horrid, by using a Dutch Angle, it gives the impression that she is floating through the air, inextricably drawn towards it.
