Project-based: 

• Hands-on practice with computer networking concepts including configurations, protocols, and security measures 

Homework:

• 3-4 times per week

Tools & Language:

• Cyber Range - a place where students can safely try out ideas without impacting a network

• Hardware such as Raspberry Pi's and online tools

Tests:

• End-of-course AP Test that translates to college credit

• Opportunity to take CompTIA Exam called Network+

Prerequisite:

• Algebra II, though students can take this and Algebra II at the same time

This full year course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of computer networking in the global environment.
