Day of the Dead and Loteria
Each year student artists learn about Day of the Dead. Artists worked in collaborative groups using ipag technology to create original artwork. Subject matter included: Calaveras, Frida Kahlo, Monarch Butterflies, Virgin Guadalupe, alters, and other traditions related to Dia de los Muertos. Student artists created artwork and also learned about the Latin culture and heritage . Artists experienced multiple artshows with FacePainters, food, artwork printed and on display, and the community celebrating their work!
