Preparing your Students for Districts
Districts Exam THURSDAY MARCH 16TH 2025
Your student might be involved in a district examination scheduled for March. If you are a vocational teacher, it's essential to get your students ready for this exam, which will include questions specific to their trade. To gain insight into the potential exam content, please consult the technical standards for your competition. **District Exam Takes Place at Whittier

The district exam will consist of three main components:
Approximately 70% of the questions will focus on trade-specific knowledge.
About 10% of the questions will pertain to OSHA regulations.
The remaining 20% will cover SkillsUSA material.

You will find the necessary OSHA and SkillsUSA materials provided by the advisors in the Google Classroom. Please ensure your student is well-prepared for this examination, which is a valuable opportunity to assess their skills and knowledge in their chosen field.
THE TOP (2) IN DISTRICT 4 WILL MOVE ON TO STATES
Preparing your Students for States
If your student achieved a top-two placement in District 4, they have earned the opportunity to advance to the state competition. During the state competition, students will engage in a hands-on competition alongside a maximum of 12 students from across the state.
*This event is a two-night overnight trip in Marlborough MA
