US History is the study of American History from the Civil War to today. The course will focus on the causes and effects of important events in the history of the United States, with an emphasis on political, economic, social, military, and cultural events.

Historical content of this class begins with the end of Reconstruction through the Great Depression (roughly 1877-1930s).
US History B
The second half of the course runs historically from the Great Depression to the 21st Century, including:
The Great Depression, WWII & The Cold War
The Postwar Period, Civil Rights & the Vietnam War
The Changing Economy, Conservative Resurgence & Beyond
Students can quickly check reading and other assignments by taking online, self-graded quizzes and getting the results emailed to them. If they don't like the scores, they can retake them after finding information suggested in the emailed results. Students who wish to change the score recorded in Skyward should wait til the next day to retake the quiz, as only the first score per day on a quiz will be recorded in Skyward.
