Corona-virus Class Work-

Lets make the most of this situation. Now is a great time to learn new skills that you have available to you. Follow safety rules and be careful. We will work within your current safety knowledge since I was not able to get through the safety sequence with beginners. Now is a bad time to have to go to the hospital.

Each week we will be doing two things:

  • covering a different set of materials starting with measurement and Sketchup.
  • Secondly, you will be developing either DIY (Do it yourself) projects, or inventive/exploration. My biggest goal in this class is that you are able to make what you need to in life. That means you are able to research projects, learn necessary skills, and make the project. For example you may do fix it projects around your house. Building stores are considered vital businesses. Its best if you have your parents pick up the necessary supplies. This week I have been repainting the scuffed spots in my house.

Expectations:

  • You will be graded 50 points a week for e-mailing progress on the weeks project. The first week will requite me to talk to your guardian (Parent, etc.). I will be checking in as necessary to provide support and make sure that projects are working for your family.
  • Knife Making Students: I am unable to provide the machinery to complete knives. We will be forced to be creative. I am imagining that we should do exactly what the rest of the Woodshop students are doing. That is to find projects around the house that matter to you, research how to repair or build them, and do the project.
  • All assignments will be due on the Friday of the week.
