The English I Honors course is designed to assist students in acquiring “the knowledge, concepts, skills needed to engage in a high level of learning…[and to] support explicitly the goal of college as an option for every student” (The AP Vertical Teams Guide for English). Honors is a rigorous program aimed at introducing students to literary works from a wide range of countries and cultures.
