Boosterthon

If you haven't registered yet, please take a minute to register at mybooster.com .

We are working hard to raise money for school improvement projects. If we meet our goal of $15,000 as a school, we get to have a water balloon fight with the admin team! Every donation helps. Thank you for your support of MCES! We couldn't do it without you.

Map Testing

We will begin our end of year Map testing Tuesday, April 16th. Students have set goals for themselves and have reflected on the steps they need to take to reach those goals. If your child reaches their map growth goals, they will be able to go to the KONA ICE truck on April 30th! Please ensure your child is at school and on time each day next week for testing.  You can also help out by reminding them to take their time, show their work and check their answers. We cannot wait to celebrate their progress with Kona Ice and at our awards day!

1) Join our MCES team by visiting heart.org/schools and making a donation.

2) Coins for Coleman- send in your spare change.  The classroom with the most change will win a Popsicle Party.  All donations will go to the American Heart Assoc.

Valentine's Day Info

Students will have the opportunity (not requirement) to pass out Valentine's to all of their classmates. If you choose to participate, please bring enough for every student. They do not need to bring their own boxes.

A  class list will be sent home.

Week of January 27th

Don't forget to encourage your child to read 20 minutes nightly at home and initial his/her reading log! This is so important to partner with us to improve your child's reading and performance at school. The overall goal is to read 100 minutes every week! Reach out to your child's teacher if you need another copy of the reading log.
