PJ DAY and POP YOUR TOP!
Students can wear pajamas to school on Monday, September 22.
They may also bring a canned drink. We will have pop your canned drink during our reading block in the morning from 8:00-8:30.
If you are able to donate a drink for a friend that forgets, extras are always welcome.
If you do NOT want your child to participate in drinking a canned drink, please reach out to your child's teacher.
We look forward to discussing your child's progress with you!

These are initial diagnostic tools for us to see a baseline in reading fluency. We know as proficient readers, it is easier to comprehend complex text if we can read with fluency and expression. If a child is struggling with reading fluency, we will use other diagnostic tools to see if the fluency deficit is causing issues with other reading skills like comprehension. These assessments are screeners, so your child cannot study for them. If you want your child to improve his/her reading fluency, we recommend reading a "just right" text repeatedly with an emphasis on reading with expression. DIBELS Parent Guide
