The event is sanctioned by the International Ski Federation (FIS). The event will operate according to the following rules and guidelines:

The competition is comprised of one Slopestyle event and one Big Air event.
All competitors require an active FIS License.
Slopestyle
Qualification: Best of 2 runs, heats of 20 – 30
Finals: Best of 2 runs, top 40% (rounded down to the nearest tenth) of Qualification results, rounded down to the nearest tenth, move to final with a minimum of six and maximum of 30.
Big Air
Qualification: Best of 2 runs/jumps
Finals: Best 2 of 3 jumps, with 2 different directions, top 40% (rounded down to the nearest tenth) of Qualification results rounded down to the nearest tenth move to final with a minimum of six and maximum of 30.
Men & Women: The number of heats and athletes will be decided at the first Team Captains meeting, depending on registration and final field sizes.
