We did a lot of projects in this class. However, there are two which were my favorite projects that we made.
The first project that was one of my favorites is the calculator project. In this project, we were assigned a partner to work with, and were tasked with creating a calculator that could perform the four basic operations, plus one more of our choosing.
This project is related to creative development, since there was variation between our code and the code of our peers, and we decided how to code it. This is also related to algorithms and programming, since it requires developing and using algorithms in program code.
The other project that was one of my favorites was the HTML website project. In this project, we gathered information about three major contributors to computer science, and coded an HTML website detailing them (however, my website is now slightly outdated, as Kathleen Booth has sadly passed away in the time between this project and today). You can see my website by clicking here, but some of the images seem to have disappeared for some reason.
Like the last project, and for the same reasons, this is related to creative development and algorithms and programming. However, this is also related to the impacts of computing, since we detailed people who helped computing grow to what it is today. Seeing as one page details Vint Cerf, the creator of the internet, it could be considered related to computer systems and networks too.
