Interested in Playing?

We are a team with a diverse range of skills, from people who have been playing since childhood to those who have picked up the sport in college. However, we do require prospective players to have intermediate to advanced skating abilities before joining so we can focus on the sport and challenge both our experienced and intermediate players at practices. At the beginning of the season, we have a low pressure skills evaluation to see where the team is at and ensure the level of play of new players.

Gear: Every player is required to have a full set of hockey gear in good shape (including a helmet that is up to date and not expired). We have a small inventory of gear available for loan to players on a first come first serve basis, but much of your gear will need to be purchased (assuming you don't already have it). 

We have gear trips early in the season to Play it Again Sports, an affordable, second-hand equipment store to get anything players may still need. While helmets must be bought new, most gear can be found at local secondhand sports equipment stores.

Wheaton College is a small, liberal arts college located in Norton, MA. The school offers a diverse array of majors, an open curriculum, and a tightknit campus community. Wheaton offers Division III athletics, competing in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), as well as various club and intramural sports.
