Equitable use of technology in the classroom is important to ensure that all students have the same ability to access technology resources that support their learning.
Ethics
Ethical use of classroom technology includes knowing the rules around fair use, common licensing, and the TEACH Act. Knowing the rules is important for ethical use of classroom technology to accurately cite and appropriately use the information accessed.
Social Responsibility
Social responsibility regarding technology use in the classroom includes protecting the social and emotional health of students. Social responsibility when using technology in the classroom is important and can teach students that our actions affect others, and they should work to impact others in positite ways.
