School Counseling Curriculum
The School Counseling Curriculum aims to foster students' holistic growth and development across all grade levels, focusing on their social/emotional, academic, and career progress. This curriculum is a vital part of a comprehensive school counseling program, adhering to Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) as well as state and national standards. It specifies the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes students should acquire. The curriculum includes structured developmental activities presented through classroom lessons, large group sessions, and educational assemblies.
Mrs. Porter meets with elementary students for classroom lessons one time per month during specials and Jr. High Students one time per month during study skills.
