26-27 New Teacher Laptop Information
All Hixson teaching Staff will recieve new teaching laptops
You will need to return your current teaching laptop in order to recieve your new one

Once you have received an email (pictured here) it means your equipment is ready for pick up in the Hixson Library

Bring your current laptop to turn in
Head to the Hixson library to pick up your new teacher latop and classroom loaner devices (details on loaner devices below)

Come down to the Hixson library AFTER you recived the above mentioned email to get your classroom loaners

SSD staff will not recieve new teacher laptops, however a seperate email will be sent when your loaner Chromebooks are ready for pick up
WHAT/WHO
All teachers will recieve 3 in class Chromebook loaner devices this school year and 3 in class chargers
Please note
You are responsible to keep track of which kids are using the equipment each time it is lent out (many use a sign in/sign out sheet)
If damage occurs please submit a tech request for it to be repaired/replaced (and drop the equipment off at the Hixson Library)
Please notify the grade level principal if equipment is damaged by a learner immediately
KEEP IN MIND
If you do not receive an email for picking up a new laptop today it does not mean you will not receive one
If you feel like you were supposed to be issued one, or you have any issues with the new one please submit a Tech Request
Printers are supposed to auto add after you login in.
If it does not appear after 1 hour please use this guide to add the printer manually

In the event that your printer does not auto add to your laptop after you log-in please use this guide to manually add the printer
If you need any assitacne with this please submit a Technology Request for support with adding printer to new laptop
