Educational Philosophy

It is the philosophy of the Boston Mountain educational Cooperative that each child be provided with the educational opportunity to reach his/her maximum potential as an individual and that this opportunity can best be provided through the cooperative effort of several school districts.  In keeping with the philosophy, the following goals are used.  The primary goal of the Boston Mountains Educational Cooperative is to assist the member school districts to better meet the assessed needs of individual students by providing additional educational services and obtaining appropriate programs.  It is the opinion of the school districts within the Cooperative that additional programs and services can be best obtained through cooperation, pooling of resources and combining administrative efforts.  A central office has been established in order to eliminate duplication of administrative costs, relieve school administration of additional responsibility, and to coordinate resources.
