HIPPY is a home based school readiness program for parents of three, four, and five year-old children. HIPPY supports parents while providing solutions that strengthen families. HIPPY’s goal is to help parents prepare their children for success in school and in life, as well as empower parents as their children’s first, and most important, teacher by giving them the tools, skills and confidence they need to successfully work with their children in the home. HIPPY empowers parents as the primary educators of their children in the home and fosters parental involvement in school and community life to maximize the chances of successful early school experiences.
