  1. Look in the Google Doc below for a Division Scavenger Hunt. Find the items that are on the list in your house. It's okay if you don't have some of the items, just put zero for them or you can substitute them with a different item. :) On a separate piece of paper, write the name of the object and how many of them there are. Draw a picture of the items to represent how many you found. Then try to divide them equally in 2 groups. When you're done, ask yourself these questions: Were you able to divide them equally? Do you have a remainder?

Ex. On my scavenger hunt, I found 7 unicorns. I drew a picture to represent my 7 unicorns and then I drew two circles to represent my two groups. After sharing between the two groups, I realized I was not able to share them evenly. Each group got 3 unicorns and I had one leftover or one remainder.

  1. Have fun and send me your results for your Scavenger Hunt through Remind or Google Voice :)

Look in the box below for the Scavenger Hunt Google Doc. You can scroll down through the document right in this screen. :)
