Occupational Therapy With Mrs. Oliver

Welcome to another week of distance learning. Hope you all have a great weekend.

This weeks OT treatment plan is as follows:

Treatment Plan wk. :

· · Warm up exercises: Wall Push Ups and Ball Press. You can add these to the previous week’s warmup. I attached a picture copy of these specific exercises. They are always a good prep to sitting and starting seated work (academics and OT both). This week focuses on upper body strength while completing wall pushups. This activity is one we did in school at times as a prep for tabletop tasks. With the ball press, you can use anything around the house with some weight to it.

· Fine Motor/ Hand warm up: From our first week when you went on a scavenger hunt, I would like you to use any type of tweezers/tongs/chop sticks to pick up small items like cotton balls, pom poms, small erasers, hair ties, little Legos, etc. I look forward to seeing what you can find.

· Mother’s Day craft: This week’s project is a typing assignment for Mothers Day. Your child can type write into the google picture.

Have a great week!

Mrs. Oliver OT
