The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is registered charity which engages with vulnerable or “hard to reach” women, children & families, advocating, supporting and empowering them to overcome barriers and vulnerabilities, to improve their quality of lives whilst striving to achieve their full potential.

We achieve our aims and objectives through the provision of multiple projects, including one – one, telephone and group befriending support services, Counselling services, domestic violence support, advocacy support, advancing training & education, youth services, volunteering opportunities and other user-led community services.

We aim to actively encourage women & families to be self- reliant, through empowering them to identify their own needs, make their own choices and create their own solutions.
