What You Need the Day of the Test
Device & Technical Requirements
Computer: A laptop or desktop (PC, Mac, or Chromebook) is required. Mobile devices and tablets (such as iPads) are not supported.
Browser: You must take the exam using the most recent version of the Google Chrome browser.
Webcam: A functioning built-in or external webcam is mandatory for security verification.
Environment & Setup
Lighting: Your testing space must be well-lit so your face is clearly visible to the camera.
Workspace: You must take the exam in a quiet, distraction-free space with a reliable internet connection to prevent session drops.
Security & Identity Verification
Test Selfie: Immediately before launching the exam, the testing platform will require you to take a photo of yourself using your webcam.
Continuous Monitoring: Throughout the exam, the testing software (Webassessor/Kryterion) will take photos of you at random intervals. Facial recognition is used to confirm that the person actively testing matches the initial selfie.
Time Constraints & Exam Logistics
Time Limit: You have exactly 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete the exam. The timer runs continuously and cannot be paused.
Breaks: While you are permitted to briefly step away (e.g., to use the restroom), the clock will keep running. Because the system takes random photos, extended absences from the webcam's view are highly discouraged.
Access Window: On the day you plan to test, ensure it falls within the 8-day window provided in your "exam is ready" confirmation email, after which the exam link expires.
In this course, you will discover ways to use Gemini as an assistant in your professional practice to save time and unleash creativity on everyday tasks.
