Whitefish Bay High School Bands

Welcome to Whitefish  Bay High School Bands!

Located just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Whitefish Bay carries a strong tradition of academic excellence and significant community support for its schools. Bay Bands play a considerable role in developing well-rounded musicians; and it is our purpose to help each student to become better thinkers, team members, and leaders to ensure success past high school --regardless of career path.

Traditional curricular course offerings include both concert and jazz bands, and supplementary electives change from year to year. You will find the Bay Pep Band at various sporting activities throughout the year, and we are also an active member in the Wisconsin School Music Association with participation in Solo/Ensemble as well as Concert and Jazz Festivals. We typically travel every two years so that students have multiple opportunities throughout high school. We also highly encourage extracurricular music activities such as honor bands, concerto competitions, All-State, Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO), and UW-Milwaukee youth ensembles.
